We're kicking off with InCube in Plainpalais, 26–30 October. Come say hi

Get involved

There’s more than one way to be part of GSE

Come to an event, help us run the club, or share your experience with the next generation of founders. Here’s how.

Two students sharing ideas around a laptop.
  1. For students

    Join the community

Be the first to hear about events, meet students from other campuses who share your interests, and get access to workshops, hackathons and startup opportunities. No idea, no team, no experience needed, just come as you are.

  2. For future leaders

    Help run GSE

We’re putting together the student team that will lead GSE, and we’d love for you to be part of it. You’ll help organise events, work with founders and partners across Geneva, and shape a brand-new organisation from its very first year. It’s the kind of experience you won’t find in a classroom, and you’ll have support every step of the way.

  3. For founders, mentors, researchers and companies

    Share your experience

Nothing inspires students more than hearing from people who’ve been there. Mentor a team, give a talk, open your office for a visit or encourage your students to come along. We’d love to hear from you.

We’re recruiting

Join the team that’s building GSE

We’re looking for motivated students from any Geneva institution and any field of study. You don’t need to have run a club before. What matters most is energy, curiosity and wanting to make something happen.

Questions you might have

Still wondering about something? Send us a message.

Do I need a startup idea to join?

Not at all! Most people who come to our events don’t have one, and plenty of founders found theirs along the way, often through the people they met. Just come and see.

I don’t study at UNIGE. Can I still join?

Of course. We’re based at UNIGE, but GSE is open to students and young researchers from all universities and research organisations in Geneva.

Does it cost anything?

No. Membership and most of our events are free for students.

What language are events in?

Most events are in English, but French is always welcome, and you’ll hear plenty of both.

How much time do I need?

As a member, as much or as little as you like: come to the events that interest you. If you join the GSE team, expect 8 hours a week.

I’m not a “business person”. Is this really for me?

Definitely. Many great founders studied science, engineering, design or law. All of our founding members come from technical backgrounds. What you already know is exactly what makes your perspective valuable.

I’m a founder or work at a company. How can I help?

There are lots of ways: mentoring, giving a talk, offering internships or partnering with us on an event. Drop us a message and we’ll find what works for you.
