We're kicking off with InCube in Plainpalais, 26–30 October. Come say hi

Geneva Student Entrepreneurs

Inspiring the entrepreneurs
of Today,
building the Geneva
of Tomorrow

Ever wondered what it would take to start your own company? We’re a community of students from all over Geneva working on our own amazing projects, and you’re very welcome to join us.

Our first event · 26–30 October 2026

Come find us in Plainpalais this October

We’re kicking things off by bringing the InCube Challenge to Geneva. For five days, student founders will set up in a public installation live inside a glass cube right in the middle of Plainpalais, working on real tech challenges while the city watches. Drop by between classes, chat with the teams and see what building a startup actually looks like up close.

What is GSE?

A place to explore entrepreneurship, even if you’ve never thought about it before

Geneva Student Entrepreneurs (GSE) is a community run by students, for students. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of Geneva entrepreneurs. We bring founders to campus, organise hands-on workshops, run hackathons and help you meet people you’d never cross paths with otherwise. If you ever feel ready to launch something, we’ll help you find the right next step.

You don’t need an idea, a team or a business background, just some curiosity.

Get to know us
  1. Get inspired

Meet founders who were students not so long ago, and hear how they really did it, including the parts that went wrong.

  2. Learn by doing

Join practical workshops on building a team, finding funding, protecting your idea and pitching it with confidence.

  3. Meet your people

Find future co-founders, mentors and friends from other campuses and disciplines who are just as curious as you.

  4. Just build

Test your ideas at hackathons and competitions, and get a helping hand towards incubation when you’re ready.

Who it’s for

Whatever you study, wherever you study it, you belong here

GSE is open to students and young researchers from across Geneva, whether you’re at UNIGE, HES-SO, CERN or anywhere else in the canton. Physicists, biologists, engineers, designers, lawyers, economists: Geneva thrives in diversity. First-year student or PhD, you’re welcome.

“Many of the best talent in our region either do not consider this as a possible path, or simply do not know how to get started. With GSE, we hope to change that and spark a new generation of startups to be created within our city.”

Some of Geneva’s future companies will be started by people who met at a GSE event. Why not you?
